The Faculty of Architecture and Planning at Dalhousie University and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) invite applications for:

International Youth Internship Placements (IYIP) in The Gambia for 2012-2013

The International Youth Internship Program (IYIP) is a salaried employment program for Canadian citizens or permanent residents (ages 19-30 inclusive).  Dalhousie University and the Faculty of Architecture and Planning have been awarded 10 internship placements in the IYIProgram for the period August 2010 to January 2013.

The internship placements with the Faculty offer graduates of Canadian professional programs in architecture, planning, and environmental engineering the opportunity to earn a salary while gaining valuable international development work experience within the new Bachelor of Community Building and Design (BCBD) program at the University of the Gambia, Banjul, The Gambia.

Three internships will be awarded for 2012-13. These internships are for the period from 1 August 2012 to 31 January 2013. The application deadline for this round of placements is Thursday, 10 May 2012 @ 4pm ADT
